I hold a B. Eng. in Multimedia Engineering and a M. Eng. in Artificial Intelligence.
I was born in Spain in 1995. From an early age, I felt a deep interest for science. Although I aimed for Physics in the beginning, I ended up studying Multimedia Engineering and fell in love with tech and especially coding, as countless possibilities and even worlds can be created with it. It was as an exchange student in Portugal, under the Erasmus programme, that I for the first time got in touch with Artificial Intelligence. Since then, I knew what my favourite field was going to be.
My first job was as a web developer but I quickly managed to enter the world of data, always aiming to work in the AI field. After two years in the world of Business Intelligence, I landed my first position as an AI engineer. It was at the same time that I started a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, studying and working full-time for two years. That experience was a tough one but it ended successfully, and I certainly gained tones of knowledge, both at a technical and a personal level.
Other than tech, two of my main interests are languages and sport. I am a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan, I speak fluently English and Portuguese and my level of French and Norwegian is moderate. I study languages on my own but I have also lived in several countries, what has definitely helped me. Two languages I am interested in but I cannot speak yet are Italian and Arabic. Regarding sports, I have been a triathlete for a decade and a judoka for another decade. In triathlon I have competed at a national level and in judo I hold a black belt, 1st dan. Sport is, to me, a foundation of a healthy and prosperous life. Its benefits extend to all the aspects of our existence.
